UpMail is changing the way sales people use emails. Our recommendation engine suggests users what to say and which content to share, making it easy and accessible for everyone to increase sales performance and generate more revenue.

We're looking for an entrepreneurial, hands-on, Senior Developer to lead our B2B SaaS product engineering team, bring UpMail to the next level and shape the sales acceleration technology industry.

UpMail was launched two years ago, and now has an international team that includes web-developers, sales and customer success experts. This opportunity comes at an exciting point in our journey: we’ve quickly grown our client base, which now includes well-known hotel groups like Hilton, Jury's Inn, Virgin, and Best Western.

We've raised more than $500k in investment and just expanded from London with new offices in Paris and the US. Most recently launched commercial partnerships in Central Europe and South-East Asia. We're now getting ready for additional international growth and truly global expansion!

This position is ideal for someone already in a lead developer role who wants to continue developing his management skills and business sense in order to become a CTO. He or she will have the opportunity to plan, deliver, and own UpMail's high level B2B SaaS technology road map and architecture, while also running day-to-day operations and delivery of a rapidly evolving product.

This is a unique occasion to make an important impact on a funded startup with a proven business model.

Technology stack: Ruby on Rails, PostgreSql, JQuery.


  • A commercially experienced Ruby on Rails full-stack developer with good working knowledge of backend/frontend/devops technologies.
  • Comfortable developing a technology strategy to deliver a market leading product
  • Experienced in managing remote development teams in the B2B SaaS technology industry
  • Able to understand business requirements and priority of a fast growing startup
  • Experienced building and maintaining reliable, performant, secure web apps
  • Interested and capable in proactive value adding to the business strategy to develop user focused products
