Seamless.ai is hiring two senior full-stack software engineers to join our early founding engineering team.

Tech Stack: Node 7, React.js, MongoDB, Express, Docker, Elastic Beanstalk, AWS

Seniority Level: Mid-Senior level

Location: Local or U.S. Remote (YES REMOTE!!!). We also have local offices and/orprovide co-working membership if needed

Compensation: Base ($70k - $120k) + Equity ($50K - $300k), Total package $130k - $410k

Our startup works with the fastest growing companies in the world, and we are actively hiring two principal full-stack javascript engineers to join our founding engineering team. You must be passionate about joining a fast-growing startup and interested in building big data SaaS products from the ground up stack to stack.

About Our Engineering Team:

The engineering team at Seamless is a small full-stack powerhouse team of two looking to add two more full-stack javascript engineers! We value simplicity in both our code and our user interfaces. We don’t believe in large teams; we opt for small, nimble engineering experts that work well together, iterate fast and achieve more as a team #Winning.

Seamless is hiring two mid-senior fullstack JavaScript Engineers to advance our cutting-edge big data search platform. We are looking for energetic, passionate developers to build scalable backend micro-services and beautiful front end interfaces using Javascript, Node, React, Express, etc. We’re a small team, so you’ll have the opportunity to work on virtually all aspects of the software! You should have a proven track record for solving big problems related to big data, single-page web applications, large NoSQL databases and scaling high availability architectures. Most of all, you should share a love for programming in Javascript and a passion for big data!

We’re looking for people who will thrive in a startup environment. You will be at the core of every new feature, every product decision, and every touch point of our users.

Especially for our early hires, we’re looking for people who have both tremendous breadth and depth. We don’t necessarily care about years of experience, but it usually takes people several years of working fulltime on meaningful software projects with a team to obtain this level of expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • 4+ years experience building highly-available, scalable and modern Javascript web applications.
  • Expert knowledge of modern back-end JavaScript (Node.js and MongoDB), front-end JavaScript (React.JS), HTML, & CSS, including libraries and frameworks.
  • A firm grasp of Computer Science fundamentals including object oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming patterns and developinga service oriented architecture.
  • Design, Development, and implementation of scalable and performant backend micro-services.
  • We have a service-oriented architecture. We have a single client facing platform supported by around 9 other services, an internal API to connect them, and an external API for partners. It allows us to keep codebases smaller, optimize more specifically, and explore new technologies with isolation.
  • Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes to support hundreds of millions of records
  • Solve complex web engineering problems
  • Passion for building full-stack JavaScript technologies that have the power to positively impact millions
  • Regularly shipping quality finished code daily
  • Creating full features, relatively unsupervised
  • Value autonomy and ownership of your work
  • Self-motivated engineer with the ability work well with a small team of highly-driven / entrepreneurial developers
  • Possess innate passion for coding, software development, and big data!
  • Experience developing APIs and chrome extensions a plus
