KoBoToolbox Project at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative
KoBoToolbox, developed by the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, is an open source suite of tools for data collection and analysis in humanitarian emergencies and other challenging environments. HHI’s mission is to relieve human suffering in war and disaster by advancing the science and practice of humanitarian response worldwide.
As a result of the strong demand by the humanitarian community for our tools and expertise, we are currently expanding our team. We are urgently seeking a Web Application Engineer to implement a significant new phase of our KoBo software suite that is implemented in coordination with the United Nations and the International Rescue Committee. As a core member of our technical staff, the individual will have a senior role to implement an exciting new software infrastructure under a tight development schedule. The Web Application Engineer is responsible for building applications that exhibit superior reliability, robustness, and performance. The individual will be part of a small, dynamic, and highly motivated team tasked with design, implementation, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing in a continuous integration process.
This is a long-term full-time sub-contract, fees are commensurate with experience
