Job Description

We are looking for a skilled marketer to take over our existing marketing efforts and then take them to the next level. As our Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for harnessing the energy of our fiercely loyal customer base. The position will be initially heavy on B2C marketing, but we expect a transition to marketing to schools and other institutions over the next 12 months.

Working remotely is an option. Some travel is required. You must be authorized to work in the US. Principals only.


  • A track record of running wildly successful marketing campaigns
  • Experience using analytics tools like Google Analytics or Mixpanel to track marketing effectiveness
  • Knowledge of email marketing tools like MailChimp
  • Ability to run in-person events like conference booth exhibits
  • A history of getting things done


  • Experience in the education market
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Experience designing digital assets with Illustrator or Photoshop

In your first month, you will:

  • Learn about the Cram Fighter product and the markets we serve
  • Get acclimated with our brand advocate program
  • Take ownership over the marketing calendar
  • Begin managing our email/drip campaigns
  • Start tracking our product marketing KPIs

In your first three months, you will:

  • Take ownership of our brand advocate program
  • Redesign our email/drip campaigns
  • Augment our KPI tracking
  • Set up, coordinate, and run our student-facing webinars
  • Conduct in-person and virtual demos for decisionmakers at conferences and schools
  • Take our content marketing strategy to the next level
  • Manage our online ad campaigns
  • Begin managing relationships with marketing partners
  • Write press releases and edit blog posts

In your first six months, you will:

  • Significantly grow metrics around recruitment and conversion for our brand advoacate program
  • Double our in-person and virtual visits to schools
  • Start honing our lead generation for institutional customers
  • Be able to run our exhibitions booths at conferences
  • Expand our relationships with our marketing partners

In your first twelve months, you will:

  • Build out our marketing team
  • Develop new, unique marketing strategies for multiple education verticals
  • Drive significant increases in all marketing KPIs
