JOB TITLE: Management Systems Software Developer DEPARTMENT: Engineering LOCATION: Telecommute


As a management systems software developer you work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment that applies agile development concepts. We are seeking software developers with advanced computer science skills to work on network-wide server databases, resource managers, graphical user interfaces, and standards based machine-to-machine interfaces. You will be responsible for the entire product development life-cycle from feature definition to customer deployment. You will contribute to test-driven development practices and develop automated test cases. You are expected to write quality code with high availability for large scale applications in a carrier-class networking environment. You will participate in design decisions of the architecture and functionality with a strong focus on scalability.

  • Experience designing and building high-volume transaction and highly-scalable systems
  • Ability to learn quickly and deliver high-quality code in a fast paced, dynamic team environment
  • Object-oriented programming abilities
  • Experience with Python and next-generation programming methods
  • Experience developing for NMS / EMS systems
  • Knowledge of TMF MTNM, ITU G.800/805
  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback from other engineers
  • Experience in Agile Development Methodology
  • BS in Computer Science, an advanced degree is preferred
