We are looking for a seasoned Quality Assurance Engineer to be part of a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company that is redefining an industry and improving the lives of 100,000s seniors across America. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a proven record of automating testing at the user level, and experience with Selenium, BDD, and Gherkin.

This QA Engineer will be responsible for analyzing ticketed requirements, developing test cases and plans, and turning those tests into a maintainable suite of automated tests. This individual must be able to achieve an understanding of the product at a deep level in order to communicate likely spots for bugs or regression errors.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with developers and product owners in the weekly release cycle by testing new features, product improvements, or fixes
  • Working with the existing QA team to document existing system capabilities and requirements to assist with planning test cases
  • Developing automated test cases in Python and JavaScript that confirm that the product is operational and behaving properly
  • Release management
  • This can be a full-time, remote position. Or, if you are in San Francisco we prefer you to be part of the team in the office.

Required qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years experience as part of a test team
  • 3+ years of automation / scripting experience with Selenium and/or similar tools
  • Knowledge of QA methodology and tools — current with the latest strategies
  • Experience writing automated tests with Python and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Git
  • Attention to detail and a knack for troubleshooting logic
  • Ambition to ensure that things are awesome, not just good enough
  • A hunger to learn and grow in your craft
  • Understanding of business and/or accounting is a PLUS
