You will be part of a team tasked with working on RedBalloon’s new consumer website. This is an exciting project utilizing some of the newest technologies on the market today. This is your chance to leave your mark and help us deliver a game changing system that will revolutionize RedBalloon.

A typical day could see you pairing up with developers to write meaningful and efficient tests, implementing beautiful code, working on our continuous delivery platform and liaising with stakeholders to make sure we are delivering the requirement product.


  • Commercial experience in Java or similar languages
  • An understanding of Scala and functional programming (Commercial experience a plus!)
  • Exposure to JavaScript Frameworks (JQuery/Backbone/AngularJS)
  • A Computer Science degree would be beneficial
  • Overall you're passionate about web technologies and love to learn and discover new tools and practises

Opportunity to work remotely within Australia will be considered.
