At IHTSDO we develop world’s most comprehensive clinical terminology, benefiting healthcare and clinical advancement worldwide. We are producing software products that express complex relationships in this data, to release knowledge that can be relied on, providing open source Web applications that simplify accessing this knowledge for our expert users.
We need you to own technical service delivery and its roadmap for our software products and Web based services, including the software tools used by our internal users, terminology authors, external stakeholders and open source community.
It’s a blend of strategic, operational and hands-on work, communicating across multiple time zones where - working with our Release Manager, DevOps Manager and Senior Project Manager - you will take care of the technical aspects of customer service management, and provide effective solutions as any technical issues arise.
You will join a collaborative geographically-spread team which shares your passion for continuous improvement, working in a progressive start-up culture environment.
• Formalising service delivery strategy, policy, process and documentation • Capacity and resource planning, assessing new tools and solutions • Preparing service delivery packages for customers and service launches
• You have worked in IT Service Management or Service Delivery for at least three years, and you're ready to take responsibility for the function • You understand the delivery issues surrounding the software development and support lifecycle • You enjoy a multi-faceted role, including troubleshooting systems, COTS and bespoke software • You are familiar with modern DevOps technologies and cloud based solutions • You are familiar with ITSM frameworks - such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO/IEC 20000 - and you can assess and implement the most relevant aspects • You are customer focussed, and competent at managing SLA's, suppliers and contracts • You may be considering other work from home jobs such as: IT Service Delivery Manager | Software Delivery Manager | Solution Delivery Manager | Application Support Manager | Software Support Manager | Software Tools Manager | Technical Support Manager

The IHTSDO is a non-profit clinical terminology standards organisation with 27 member countries worldwide. We seek to improve the health of humankind by fostering the development and use of suitable standardised clinical terminologies, notably the ‘SNOMED CT’ product, in order to support safe, accurate, and effective exchange of clinical and related health information.
