Description

Tradier is seeking a Rails Engineer to join our Engineering team. We are a growing financial technology company focused on creating innovation and capability through APIs and technology platforms. You are passionate about technology and love solving problems using elegant solutions. You know how to translate ideas into good code, and you know how to have fun doing it. What you'll need for this position

  • Very strong skills with Ruby
  • At least 4-5 years of experience with Ruby/Rails
  • Fluency with prominent Ruby libraries like Sinatra, Sidekiq
  • Some front-end experience working with CSS/HTML
  • Javascript experience (bonus points for Ember.js skills)
  • Strong understanding of API-based architecture
  • Excitement about writing quality code, constantly improving the codebase
  • The belief in the long term benefit of writing tests and TDD (we prefer RSpec)
  • Strong desire to be part of a great company
  • An open mind, and a collaborative and friendly attitude

What you'll do

You'll work with our product and technology teams to help us build innovative trading and customer experiences. You will be a strong leader in moving all our Rails applications forward. You'll have the opportunity to mold the architecture of our customer applications and ultimately make decisions on how to implement features and fixes within the platforms.

What's Next

This is a full-time position ideally based in Charlotte, NC but remote is considered for the right candidate. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US for any employer. We offer a competitive salary, benefits, and equity opportunities.
