ShowClix is actively seeking a Quality Engineer with a knack for getting software to succumb to their mastery testing skills. The Quality Engineer's role includes using a combination of automated and manual testing tools to uncover gnarly edge cases in our online, native, and mobile ticketing software. They will work closely with our Project Team and Software Engineers to ensure that nothing gets through the cracks. They will be tasked with finding new ways to automate and control our Quality processes. Skills and Experience Necessary

  • Solid understanding of quality assurance best practices
  • Basic experience with scripting languages (PHP, Ruby, Python, Javascript, etc.)
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • Detail-oriented
  • An effective communicator and documentor
  • Thrives when working with a diverse team

Additional Experience Desired

  • Experience working with Continuous Integration Tools (Jenkins, Travis CI, etc.)
  • Experience with functional test automation tools (Selenium, Phantom JS, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practives

Bonus Points

  • Able to demonstrate expertise with published writings, portfolio, or open source work
  • Understanding of UX best practices
  • Has an affinity for bullet-point lists. Seriously, congrats for making it this far down the list!
