Software Development

2015-08-04 07:03

BaseCase provides a web-based platform for creating and distributing interactive apps. Our SaaS platform is used by eight of the top ten pharmaceutical companies and by over half of the top ten medical device companies worldwide to create and distribute interactive presentations that communicate the value of their products.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and build new products and features for the platform. This position requires at least four years of professional experience building high-quality software. We are looking for talented developers who are enthusiastic about building clean and elegant solutions to challenging problems, and we’re interested in front-end, back-end and full-stack software engineers.

The BaseCase platform is a rich and mature development environment for non-programmers. If providing users with advanced tools for creating interactive content – without any programming – sounds like an ambitious and exciting challenge, then BaseCase might be right for you. We have an experienced software team and our developers enjoy a great deal of autonomy, starting with the hardware and software of their choice.

Building Software at BaseCase

At BaseCase, we use:

  • git
  • Bug tracking software (JIRA)
  • Unit tests
  • Integration tests
  • Manual testing (thanks to our QA department)
  • Python & Javascript

Wherever possible, we like clean 2-4 week projects, where a single developer is responsible for:

  • Specifying / brainstorming the feature (via email, or in a wiki)
  • Implementation of the feature
  • Providing a mechanism for testing the feature

Stock options are available after you’ve worked with us for 6-9 months.
