For all of the success we’ve enjoyed to date, what’s even more exciting is knowing the best is yet to come…and the Senior UX Design Lead will play a key role in shaping that future. As our first in-house designer you will own our UI, setting the style and tone for the entire product. In this hands-on role you will also create amazing designs for our Engineers and help us grow our design team over time.

Developed at Harvard, Qstream is a radically new sales performance platform used by top brands to ignite high-performance sales teams.

Qstream’s innovative SaaS solution combines mobile, gamification, big data and social collaboration.

We keep a pulse on sales organizations by capturing dynamic data on the capabilities of every rep, every day. We do this by engaging users in fun, scenario-based challenges delivered to their mobile device. A sophisticated analytics engine takes it from there, providing insights that ensure sales teams are fully aligned and ready to win.

  1. Got data? We do. Design intuitive tools to help senior managers sift through big data to solve business problems.
  2. We’re serious about games and are pioneers in the gamification of enterprise-level applications.
  3. Design a coaching engine that is revolutionizing how sales coaching is done in the field.
  4. We’re a mobile-first company and leading the way with our radically new mobile sales performance platform.
  5. Design our next generation mobile app for Qstream participants that sets a new bar for enterprise apps.
  6. Our solution is scientifically proven. We’re wicked smart and have the Harvard connection to prove it.
  7. First in-house designer equals big, visible impact.
  8. Put your stamp on how the UI looks, setting the style and tone for the entire product.
  9. Collaborate with world-class Engineers and Product Owners on our agile product teams.
  10. Have the satisfaction of designing a product that helps senior managers make million-dollar decisions...what we do has an impact.

Great design is at the heart of our product and our global product team is smart, experienced and dedicated. We’ve outsourced UX design in the past, but now seek a team member who lives and breathes Qstream as we do, working side-by-side with our product team.

There is flexibility to work remotely, from a shared office near your location, or in one of our offices in Boston, Hood River, Oregon or Dublin, Ireland.

We hope you never have one. Think everything from small to big, new features to overall design. Project work includes creating detailed designs, wireframes and functional specs. You’ll also own broader initiatives centered on visual design and workflows of our next-generation, enterprise-SaaS platform and mobile apps. Delivering an extraordinary user experience has been fundamental to our success, and our users prize both our ease of use and the fun factor.

This is more than a wish list, we need a seasoned Senior UX Design Lead who:

  • Has experience with enterprise SaaS and responsive mobile design. Experience with big data or gamification is a plus.
  • Can demonstrate their ability to create an interface and workflow that gets out of the users way and is so effective they are barely aware it’s there. Design is not just how something looks, but how it works. And it needs to be flawless on both counts.
  • Is not just a visionary but knows how to get elbow-deep into design and is able to effectively deliver their ideas to an Engineering team. Yes, we need someone who can envision a thing of beauty. But, if you aren’t able to translate those creative thoughts to others we’ll never be able to make it come to life.
  • Can knock our socks off with a portfolio that showcases your best, and leaves no doubt that you have years of experience designing for complex enterprise SaaS platforms and are right at home in the mobile-first world of responsive design.

We’re values-driven. It’s more than words on paper … we put them into action and it shows in who we hire, reward and promote. We prize passion, curiosity, intelligence and adaptability. We value the drive to get stuff done, delight customers, and have some fun along the way. We take our work very seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. When you get to know us you’ll see that we mean it.

As we grow, we continue to enhance our benefits and just added 4 weeks of vacation for everyone – from day one. We’ve learned it can be challenging to find the right person for our team, so when we find our next inspiring coworker we celebrate! We also share our excitement by sending every new hire a little Mad Money - each new Qstreamer receives $100 before their start date - to celebrate too!

Our management team fosters a culture that enables the delivery of truly great products, inspires innovation, and stokes the passion of every employee. And they've done it before! With years of experience building world-class startups, our team has attracted some of the best talent and the support of top-notch investors. In late 2014, the company completed its Series A funding with a total investment of $6.85M from some of today's most progressive venture firms

Still, nothing says as much as happy, satisfied clients. Ours include many of world’s top brands in life sciences, technology and financial services. And we’re just getting started.

Please send us your resume and portfolio. We respect the process so you can expect us to review them quickly. We won’t leave you hanging or disappear into a black hole. If we see a potential match, we’ll quickly schedule a phone call because nothing beats a conversation.

If everyone – including you – likes what they are hearing we’ll invite you to meet the team. Interviews often include an opportunity to join the team for lunch so that you can make sure we are a good fit.

We look forward to hearing from you!
