The Company:

At Liftopia we're building tools that are igniting a revolution in the ski industry, bringing innovative changes that benefit both mountain resorts and those who love snow. Liftopia's eCommerce technology allows people to book lift tickets and other mountain recreational products months in advance at the best prices for their favorite and new resorts. It helps resorts grow revenue through advance purchase sales and also helps them reach new demographics.

Liftopia is growing rapidly, and is already the largest seller of lift tickets online. Our team is the driving force behind our success. We are united by our passion for changing the industry for good and ensuring the success of our product. You belong here if this is something that quickens your pulse and makes you want to roll-up your sleeves.

In addition to healthy cash-flow, we are proud to be backed by all-star investors including: First Round Capital (early investors in Uber, Square, Mint and One Kings Lane), Lowercase Capital's Chris Sacca (Google, Twitter, Uber, Instagram), Dave Morin (Facebook, Path.com), Erik Blachford (Expedia, Inc./IAC Travel; Hipmunk, Room 77, Farecast), Sam Shank (HotelTonight), and Gregg Brockway (TripIt).

  • Actively contribute to solving challenges within the codebase with the development and product teams
  • Writing and maintaining complex SQL queries in the codebase

  • Experience building high volume API platforms
  • Experience with high-end, high traffic web applications
  • Experience working on more than one kind of tech stack - especially migrating from one to another

  • Exposure and experience with Service-Oriented Architecture
  • Exposure to Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment
