Help fix the legal industry!

The way legal transactions are done is filled with inefficiencies, which leads to ridiculously high legal fees. We're fixing this by building software that automates and streamlines the process.

We're profitable and growing sustainably. We launched a company formation service last year, and are now one of the most popular ways for high-growth technology startups to incorporate. Y Combinator and 500 Startups both use our software to handle their investment paperwork.

We're a quiet leader in the legal technology space - if you are interested in changing the way law is practiced, this is arguably the best place to be (no hyperbole).

This is a great fit for people who want to work:

  • ... at a product-driven company bringing an old-fashioned industry into the future
  • ... on a complex product, with a ton of design challenges
  • ... on a well-loved product with a lot of usage and visibility in the startup community
  • ... in a company that understands the importance and role of design
  • ... at a financially sound company
  • ... hard but sustainably, to maximize professional growth
  • ... where you'll be a key first design hire

What we're looking for (strict requirements):

  • Strong generalist design skillset (i.e. UI, UX, visual, etc.)
  • Ability to discuss design decisions (beyond "it just looks better")
  • Significant experience working on SaaS / enterprise products
  • Strong understanding of design theory and principles
  • Ability to implement designs using CSS and Javascript

Please note that while portions of our product are publicly accessible, that's just the tip of the iceberg.

We are only looking directly for full-time employees - we are absolutely not interested in agencies, contractors, or recruiters.
